College Letters!!!?

I am a sopre in highschool and have recently began to receive letters from many different colleges. I have received letters from NYU, Colgate, Wash U in St. Louis, Fordham and many other school. My PSAT score was a composite 185 so I am very confused. Why areall these extremely prestiogus colleges sending my letters?? Are the types of colleges you receive letters from any reflection of your scores on the PSAT???
