Is Politics like driving? To go backward, put it in R. To go forward, put it in D. ?

It's all politics. They're all liars and essentially all the same, but they choose their mascot (donkey or elephant) and put on a parade for everyone. I have never quite figured out why the Republicans cater to the evangelicals. I am yet to figure out why McCain chose Palin. I read a Y! News article this morning about Clinton supporters being offended because Palin said that she was the answer to the "18 million cracks in the ceiling." I too found it appalling. Just because she's a woman doesn't mean I'll vote for her for that reason, and that reason only.
