Starting career as a Manual Tester - Advice needed.....?

I am a software test engineer, I test software for a large company. I find bugs on a daily basis, it really all depends on the people who are developing the software and how well they test their own work. Because you are worried that you are missing things ask experienced software testers to check your work when you are done, that way you will get an idea of what exactly you should be looking for.
