What can I do to take care of my tattoo?

OK, so...I just got my first tattoo yesterday. The only thing the guy did is put some Iodine on it, but he didn't give me anything to cover it, and so...I haven't put anything on it since then. Not even covered it. Someone has just told me to put on some coconut oil on it to keep it smooth, but I want some more options to see what is the best thing i can do to keep my tat looking good always! I'M SO PROUD OF IT!!!!
