Need help having color issues with my 32inch hdtv?

I have a 32 inch rca hdtv flat screen.The color is way off i base that from my other tv in a different room where on the last american idol paula had green shirt and the rca had her wearing a gold shirt and their is issues with other colors to.the cables are all in correct oder have a hdmi cable from the cable box to the tv in correctly and tried on my remote every kind of adjustment and i am at a dead end here can any please make suggestions
