What is a good serger sewing machine?

I have two. My domestic machine is an Elna and my industrial one is a Brother. They are both excellent machines. My mother had a Pfaff that was good too. I think as long as you spend all your available cash on one it should be acceptable. The ones that seem incredibly cheap are just that! They sew badly and are hell to work with and if they go wrong you will struggle to find anyone to repair them. Good luck with your new venture!
